Acupuncture

An ancient practice of healing that promotes the flow of energy ‘CHI’ throughout the body. Acupuncture has gained a reputable stance in the United States over that past few years and is used not only in alternative health-care settings, but also in many hospitals and medical clinics. Acupuncture has been found to be beneficial in the treatment of a myriad of conditions. In the chiropractic setting, we utilize acupuncture for joint healing, pain relief and muscle tension as well as balancing the body’s natural flow of energy. Restoring energy balance often aids in reducing feelings of anxiousness and promoting sleep and relaxation.

Corrective Exercise

Restorative exercises incorporating strength, balance, agility and mobility are important components in the healing process. A principle key in injury prevention is correcting muscle imbalances and dysfunctional movement patterns associated with postural and repetitive stresses. At Lifeforce Chiropractic, we believe that teaching therapeutic exercises, lifestyle modifications and other self care practices empowers our patients to take ownership of their health and physical well-being.

Soft Tissue Mobilization

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, commonly known as Graston technique, is a form of therapy for tissue healing. The technique incorporates the use of a hand-held tool (metal or stone) applied to the muscles and ligaments to help mobilize and reduce scar tissue and fascial adhesions. The goal of this therapy is to reduce overall inflammation, increase mobility and restore proper function in the tissue.
